Description
English: The arms show a circle, based on the arms of Hamminkeln. The arms symbolise the structure of the soil in the municipality, the sandy heathlands and the green fields. The division line also symbolises the railway line that runs through the village from North-West to South-East.
Deutsch: Schrägrechts geteilt oben Grün unten Gold (Gelb)mit einem farbenwechselnden Kreis in Gold (Gelb) Grün belegt. Das Wappen symbolisiert die Landschaft Mehrhoogs, die sandigen Böden der Heidelandschaft und die grünen Felder. Die schräge Linie steht für die Eisenbahnlinie Oberhausen-Amsterdam, die den Ort von Südost nach Nordwest durchschneidet. Der Kreis bezieht auf das Wappen der Stadt Hamminkeln.
