Description
Deutsch: Wappen der ehemaligen Gemeinde Leer, seit 1969 Ortsteil von Horstmar: „Quadriert in Silber (Weiß) und Blau.“ Der quadrierte Schild entstammt dem Siegel des Geschlechts von Leer und wird von der Gemeinde seit 1939 als Wappen geführt.
English: „A counter-quarterly shield Argent and azure.“ The arms were granted in 1939 and based on the old seals of the Leer family.
