Deutsch: Im 15. und 16. Jahrhundert waren die beiden Ortsteile Lech und Lechbruck eigene Dörfer, sie hießen auch unteres und oberes Dorf. Das obere Dorf lag an der Lechbrücke und ist seit Ende des 14., Anfang des 15. Jahrhunderts belegt, das untere Dorf wird 1316 erstmals genannt. Die Steinbrücke steht redend für den Ortsnamen. Bereits vor dem Bauernkrieg 1525 gab es hier eine Brücke. Sie wurde damals zerstört und erst 1810 wieder errichtet. Im 17. und 18. Jahrhundert hatte das Kloster Steingaden eine eigene Brücke unterhalb des Ortes über den Lech. Die Wellen stellen den Lech dar sowie die Wasserkraft, die seit der Erbauung eines Kraftwerks hier gewonnen wird. Haken und Ruder versinnbildlichen die Bedeutung des Ortes als ehemaliges Flößerdorf bis Anfang des 20. Jahrhunderts. Die Farben Rot und Silber erinnern an das Hochstift Augsburg, das bis zur Säkularisation 1803 Grund- und Gerichtsherr in Lechbruck war. |
