Object history Als erster Landschultheiß von Hattert wird Gerhaed Nayl genannt. Dieser Name lief durch vier Generationen, denen mittlerweile der Adelstitel verliehen wurde. Sie führten den Titel: "Denß Monhard Nayl von Hattenrode" und führten zuletzt das vorliegende Wappen. Die Nägel weisen redend auf den Namen "Nayl" hin.
