April 1938 vom zuständigen Reichsstatthalter in München genehmigt.
English: The arms were designed in 1926 and officially granted on April 2, 1938. The upper half shows the lion of Palatinate and the three eagles of the Counts of Leiningen. Historically the Counts of Leiningen ruled the area as vassals for the Counts (later Princes) of Palatinate. The base with the hook like a mirror-inverted "S" is derived from a seal of the "Pflege" Haßloch. |
