The is buried in Billerbeck in the district. The left part shows the arms of Münster, as the district historically belonged to Münster.
Deutsch: Der rechte Teil des Wappens zeigen St. Liudger, der Haupt Missionar unter den deutschen und friesischen Stämme im 8. Jahrhundert und Gründer des Bistums Münster. Er wurde in Billerbeck im Kreis Coesfeld begraben. Der linke Teil zeigt das Wappen von Münster, dem der Kreis Coesfeld historisch angehörte.
