Deutsch: Der Gemeinde Gescher wurde am 4. August 1939 durch den Oberpräsidenten von Westfalen in Münster ein Wappen verliehen. Es ist abgeleitet vom Wappen der Familie, die seit dem 18. Jahrhundert Besitzer des Schultenhofes war. Es wurde bis 1971 geführt.
English: The arms were granted on August 4, 1939. The arms are derived from the arms of the family who owned the Schultenhof, known since the 18. century.
