Description
English: A well preserved although slightly corroded on the obverse, 4th-century copper-alloy Roman nummus of Magnentius (350-353 AD), 'GLORIA ROMANORUM' reverse type, minted in Trier; 23.8 mm diameter, 2 mm thick, 4.61 grams. Reece issue period 18; Class: LRBC II 53. p.46. This coin can be more firmly dated to Jan 350 - c.July 351. Flavius Magnus Magnentius was a usurper of the western Roman Empire.
