Das Foto zeigt eine Aufnahme, die am Autobahnabschnitt Gera – Karl-Marx-Stadt (heute Chemnitz) der heutigen A4 in der Nähe der Anschlußstelle Ronneburg mit Blick nach Süden gemacht wurde. Im Dunst im Hintergrund zeichnen sich Fördertürme und Abraumhalde des ehemaligen Bergbaubetriebs (BB) Paitzdorf (eine Betriebsstätte der SDAG Wismut) ab. Die auffälligen doppelspitzkegeligen Abraumhalden des BB Paitzdorf sowie des benachbarten BB Reust wurden im Volksmund „Ronneburger Titten“ genannt. English: Original title: “120. Landschaft zwichen Jena und Karl-Marx-Stadt, DDR.” This photograph was taken at the autobahn A4 between Gera and Karl-Marx-Stadt (today Chemnitz) near Ronneburg exit/access point looking in southerly direction. In the background mist there are headframes and spoil heap of the Paitzdorf underground mine (part of SDAG Wismut) visible. The conspicious twin-coned spoil heap of the Paitzdorf mine as well as that of the adjacent Reust mine were popularly known as the „Ronneburg tits“. |
