English: On 7 October 1966, a Joint US and South Vietnamese Army Pacification program termed Operation "Lam Son II", is conducted by elements of the 1st Inf Div and elements of the 5th ARVN forces in Binh Dung Province, 20 kilometers northwest of Saigon SFC Raymond J. Goddard (Long Island, New York) and SP5 Michael D. Lamanna (Atwater, California) (standing) motion picture cameraman with the US Army Special Photographic Office, Pacific Detachment, films the interrogation of a suspected Viet Cong during the pacification program.
