Description
English: MRWA D class steam locomotive no. D20 at Midland Junction, Western Australia, with the water tower at left. This photograph was taken before 1952, by which time D20 had been rebuilt, including by the substitution of a straight sided cab, and by the addition of tender side extensions to increase the tender's coal capacity. For a photo of the locomotive in 1952, see Gunzburg, Adrian (1989). The Midland Railway Company Locomotives of Western Australia. Melbourne: Light Railway Research Society of Australia. p. 31.
