| Description |
English: The much-[vaunted "Magnificent Seven" diesel-hydraulic gala at the Severn Valley Railway on 29th / 30th September 2023 was reduced to the Magnificent five after D7018 crashed into D7019 at the West Somerset Railway and had to be withdrawn. Not to be deterred, the SVR drafted in a pair of Class 20s and a Peak in addition to firing up 50 050 and 40 106 from the home fleet to provide sufficient variety in the timetable. Friday saw sunshine, but the weekend was dull and overcast unfortunately. |
