Description
Deutsch: Der Kiesbahn der Leipziger Westend-Baugesellschaft von Karl Heine wurde von der Stadt Leipzig der Streckenbau unter der Brücke untersagt. Der Ausweg war, einen der Pfeiler zu durchbrechen und das Streckengleis hindurch zu verlegen. Der Querschnitt war nur so groß, dass ein Pferd mit angehängten Wagen passieren konnte. Nachdem die Genehmigung doch noch erteilt wurde, verfüllte man den Pfeiler wieder. Die Spuren dieses Durchbruchs waren bis zum Abbruch der Brücke sichtbar.
