Summary

[edit]
Description Two-thirds of the batch are reunited! Eastern National purchased just three ECW commuter coach style Leyland Olympians to the later body styling to supplement their City Commuter coach fleet; 4510-4512 were held back until August 1986 to qualify for "D" prefix numberplates and here in 2016 we see D510PPU (now PLZ2876) and D511PPU; 4510 is now owned by Venturer Coaches and has received some cosmetic modifications as well as a Gardner 6LXB engine instead of the Leyland TL11 engine. 4511 is now owed by Panther Travel and is far more original, both have opening windows added to make travel more comfortable on warm days like May 28th when both were used on an enthusiast trip.
