Description
Deutsch: Die Düssel aus dem Neandertal kommend in Erkrath - Im Hintergrund die Neandertalbrücke der Autobahn A3. Der Fluß hat noch leichtes Hochwasser, zu erkennen an dem etwas erhöhten Wasserstand und der dunklen, lehmigen Wasserfarbe, resultierend aus den Abtragungen von Schlamm aus dem Neandertal. Bis in die 1980er Jahre trat die Düssel in diesem Bereich bei sehr starken Regenfällen über die Ufer, überschwemmte die angrenzenden Felder und lief in die Bachstraße hinein.
