| Description |
Deutsch: Südansicht der Müllverbrennungsanlage in Dürnrohr, ein Ortsteil der niederösterreichische Marktgemeinde Zwentendorf an der Donau. Von 2001 bis 2003 wurden die ersten zwei Linien (2 x 60 MW) der Müllverbrennungsanlage errichtet und im Jahr 2010 wurde eine dritte Linie (1 x 90 MW) in Betrieb genommen. Dadurch erhöhte sich die Kapazität der Anlage auf mehr als 500.000 t pro Jahr. Der in der Abfallverwertungsanlage erzeugte Dampf wird in das benachbarte Kraftwerk Dürnrohr geleitet und dort zur Erzeugung von Strom für 170.000 Haushalte, Fernwärme für die Gemeinde Zwentendorf und die Stadt St. Pölten sowie Prozessdampf für die AGRANA Bioethanolanlage genutzt. |
