English: This is a charcoal drawing by Albrecht Dürer, a Scheibenriß or cartoon (preliminary drawing) for a stained-glass window. The title is Tafelnde Gesellschaft und Tod, (roughly, Death at Society's Dining Table). A similar grouping is shown in the middle of Dürer's Pleasures of the World, with Death in the lower-right corner of the composition.
