Décorations allemandes de l'arrière grand-père mort le 10 octobre 1918 Il était à la base français, devenu allemand après 1871, vivait à Thionville, épousait une femme luxembourgeoise. Parti relativement tard à la guere, il était âgé de plus ou moins 40 ans lorsque les troupes allemandes l'ont solicité pour aller en guerre. Les décorations étaient cachées dans un coffre fort, la grand-mère ne voulant pas les montrer parce qu'elle en voulait aux Allemands responsables de la mort de leur mari. Les décorations ont été trouvées après la mort de la grand-mère. Une décoration "Eisernes Kreuz 2. Klasse"

Une décoration autrichienne avec inscription F.J. datant de 1916 (Eisernes Verdienstkreuz mit der Krone).
