Description
Polski: Najstarszym miastem Zagłębia jest Czeladź, która prawa miejskie otrzymała w XIII wieku. Pierwsza wzmianka o Czeladzi pochodzi z 1228 roku, natomiast w 1927 roku wybrano tutaj pierwszą komunistyczną Radę Miejską w Polsce. W hołdzie temu zdarzeniu w 1977 roku przed Urzędem Miejskim wzniesiono pomnik. Napis na tym monumencie, którego wyrzeźbił Bronisław Chromy, do dzisiaj głosi: „KOMUNISTOM DZIAŁACZOM RUCHU ROBOTNICZEGO KTÓRZY W 1927 R ZWYCIĘŻYLI W WYBORACH TWORZĄC PIERWSZĄ W POLSCE KOMUNISTYCZNĄ RADĘ MIEJSKĄ CZELADZI W HOŁDZIE SPOŁECZEŃSTWO MIASTA CZELADŹ WRZESIEŃ 1977 R”.
