English: Cwm Doethie Fawr in March, Ceredigion In the shed, which was built around the late 1960s, sheep shearing is carried out in mid July. Numbers have dropped gradually from around 1500 in the early 1990s to less than 600 in 2008. Maybe if the return that farmers can get from their lambs improves, our hills and valleys will be grazed more thoroughly again. |
