English: Cwm Dewi swamp The boggy valley that runs along the neck of Dinas Island is a thicket of willow and alder, impenetrable by reason of the waterlogged ground at all times of the year. The ivy, moss and lichens that cling to the trunks and boughs provide colour even in mid-winter. |
