English: Locomotive #6771 was originally built for Canadian National as #6771 and then transferred to VIA Rail Canada when the government took over all intercity passenger trains. VIA retired #6771 in 1989. B&K Engineering purchased #6771 in 1990 for use on the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad where it was painted as Western Maryland #305. CVSR purchased the engine in April, 1993 and re-numbered the unit to locomotive #15. In 2003 the unit was numbered back to the original #6771. |
