Description
English: A worn and slightly warped medieval silver short cross cut quarter penny (farthing) of Richard I (1189-1199) or John (1189-1216), short cross coinage (c. AD 1180-1247), class 2 to 5b Minted by Ricard at uncertain mint. It is cut along the lines of the voided short cross, roughly representing 9-12 o'clock of the obverse. North 1994, volume 1, pg 220-221. nos.965-970.

Measurements: 8.43mm wide, 8.94mm long, 0.48mm thick and 0.29g in weight.
