Title
Cut farthing - Henry III
Description
English: A silver cut, voided long cross farthing of Henry III c. 1247 - 1272 AD. The obverse has front facing bust with hand on sceptre to lower left of the remaining quadrant. The reverse has the remnant of the voided long cross, three pellets to the quadrant and part legend. The obverse has been double struck and the reverse third quadrant 'N' has been poorly struck. Class 5b, possibly from NICOLE of CANT. The diameter is 9.58mm and 0.43mm thick, it weighs 0.3gm.
