Description
Deutsch: Ausgrabungsfeld von Norden. Die Säulentrommel an der Nordostecke des Tempels fowie eine andere an ihrer Stelle befindliche der Ostfront sind durch Menschen bezeichnet (s. Taf. IV. V.), ebenso die geneigte Säulentrommel vor der Ostseite, unter welcher der Kopf und Oberleib des sitzenden Mannes (Taf. XVII.) lagen, und in deren nächster Umgebung auch die Statuen auf Taf. XXII und XXIV gefunden wurden. In den späteren Bauten ist der dreieckige Block, welcher die Inschrift des Paeonios trägt. (Taf.XXXIl, 2) markirt. Im Hintergrunde der Alpheios und die Berge Triphyliens.
