Description
Deutsch: Ebene von Olympia von Westen gesehen unterhalb des Dorfes Druva, diesseits des Kladeos, dessen nach Süden zum Alpheios gerichteter Lauf im Vordergründe durch die seine Ufer einfaffenden Bäume bezeichnet ist. Inmitten der Ebene liegt das Ausgrabungsfeld; an der Nordgränze der spitze Kronionhügel, an dessen südlichem Fuße eine Baracke und Arbeiterhütten, westlich ein Ruinentheil eines römischen Bades, zum provisorischen Museum hergerichtet. Oestlich, im Hintergrunde tritt der spitze Burghügel von Phrixa (jetzt Palaeo Phanaro) hervor; noch ferner die Arkadischen Berge.
