Summary

[edit]
Description

Curtis Morris, from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Sacramento District’s safety office, monitors safe operation of an air curtain incinerator Dec. 28, 2012, here at Floyd Bennett Field in Brooklyn, NY.

The majority of vegetative debris leftover from Hurricane Sandy is put to good use (mulch, etc.), but there is great concern about an Asian Longhorn Beetle infestation, requiring us to use eco-friendly incinerators to destroy the remaining debris before the beetle emerges.
