| Description |
English: Cultivation Terraces near Reeth. These well preserved terraces to the west of Reeth can best be seen from Harkerside on the south side of the dale. The terraces are medieval [and earlier] plough lines, from a time when cereal crops were grown here. 18th century stone walls were built over the terrace lines. |
