Cufflink Post Medieval
Description
English: A post-Medieval set of silver cufflinks (c. AD 1725-1800). The set of cufflinks consists of two silver elements, joined together with a sub rectangular silver loop, circular in cross-section. Each single element is octagonal in shape, convex at the front and concave at the rear. The edges are down-turned. Each element has a complete silver wire loop which is circular in cross-section. At the front, engraved decoration consists of an octagonal border with scalloped sides. In the centre is a flower/rose with four main petals alternately with four smaller petals. The centre of each rose has a circular area formed by a number of pellets.
