Description
Español: Imagen de la cuenta de un tributo pipil, que fue transcrita por Francisco Antonio de Fuentes y Guzmán en su recordación Florida, la imagen según el autor procedía de un manuscrito o códice pipil procedente de la Alcaldía Mayor de Sonsonate (los actuales departamentos salvadoreños de Ahuachapan y Sonsonate) que le fue dada al autor por el licenciado y cura Juan de los Ríos. La imagen muestra una manta y cuatro símbolos que representan cada uno un tzonte (el número 400) dando a entender que se recolectaron 4 tzonte (lo que es igual a 1600) mantas; pues él y otros autores como Diego García de Palacios menciona que los náhuas contaban en base veinte, siendo 400 = un zonte o tzonte
