English: Cuckmere Haven This is where the Cuckmere River flows out to sea, although when this photo was taking there was an incoming tide giving the appearance that the river was flowing inwards. Note the large shingle bank erected and maintained by the Environmental Agency to prevent the inland meanders being flooded. |
