Summary
[edit]DescriptionCrystal Palace High Level railway station (site), Greater London (geograph 5100611).jpg |
English: Crystal Palace High Level railway station (site), Greater London Opened in 1865 as the terminus of a branch from Nunhead on the London Chatham & Dover Railway's network, this station closed in 1954. The site was later redeveloped. View north from the approximate site of the booking office, towards Upper Sydenham and Nunhead. The terminus station had been large and elaborate, but in this view, only the retaining wall on the right survives. |
