Summary

[edit]
Description
English: A random number generated by a cryptographic RNG is used as a session key in a symmetric encryption algorithm to produce the ciphertext for the message, while the key itself is encrypted with the intended recipient's public key. The ciphertext and encrypted key are sent to the recipient, who can decrypt the key with their private key and use it to recreate the message.
