Summary
[edit]DescriptionCroxton Flash - geograph.org.uk - 444635.jpg |
English: Croxton Flash Croxton Flash, beside the Trent & Mersey Canal, Byley. Subsidence, caused by natural underground solution of the underlying salt measures, has created many flashes in this part of west central Cheshire. In this case the flash is right beside the canal and the two have fused - although canal craft would be well advised to keep to the main line of the canal as the flash is shallow. |
