English: Crown Point Bridge, 2008 Newly painted, Crown Point Bridge is here seen from the east with the tower of Leeds Parish Church in the background. The bridge was built in 1842 by John Wignall Leather, listed Grade II in 1974, then widened with the east elevation 'stretched' and restored to its original appearance in 1995, with engineering by J Richard Kay M.A., C.Eng., M.I.C.E. on behalf of Leeds City Council.
