English: Crown Office head, Chambers Street. Portrait bust believed to be a likeness of William Ramsay Henderson (1801-1832) who left a large sum of money "for the advancement and diffusion of the science of phrenology". The Henderson Trust set up after his death used the bequest to support publications such as 'The Phrenological Journal and Magazine of Moral Science' which ran to 20 volumes between 1838 and 1847.
