| Description |
English: Crowcombe station (restored), 1987. View SE, towards Bishops Lydeard and Taunton: ex-GWR Taunton - Minehead line. The station was closed with the line from 4/1/71, but the Minehead branch was saved as a heritage project in 1973 and reopened in stages from 28/3/76 (Minehead - Blue Anchor), then in stages to Bishops Lydeard by 9/6/79 including Crowcombe - renamed Crowcombe Heathfield in 1991. Here in 1987 only the Up platform line was in use, but the Down was reinstated in 1994. |
