Description
Français : Photo faite durant les travaux de la Voie nouvelle de la vallée de l'Aa (VNVA), mais à plus de 100 m du chantier sur le flanc d'une ancienne carrière contournée par la route VNVA ; écoulement souterrain d'eau, avec dépôts gréseux très ferrugineux (croûtes de fer) évoquant une tôle de fer qui s'est faite semble-t-il dans les failles, probablement grâce à un biofilm microbien alimenté par de la matière organique venue de la surface (située à plusieurs mètres au dessus du point où la photo a été prise). Cette zone de flanc de carrière s'est effondrée quelques mois plus tard.
