Description
English: Cross carvings The interior of the largest cave at Caiplie has many crosses carved into its walls. Some are undoubtedly of recent origin, but others are believed to date from the time around 840 AD when the cave was occupied by St Ethernam (aka St Adrian) and has band of missionaries.
