| Description |
English: Cross at St. Swithin's Church, Sproatley, East Riding of Yorkshire, England. Possibly the base and part of the shaft of a medieval cross which formerly stood in the south of Sproatley village (although the carvings are not medieval). It is thought to have been removed to the rectory-house garden by the 1840s before being placed in the churchyard at St. Swithin's. More stonework from this or another similar cross is said to be still at the former rectory. |
