| Description |
English: Cross at Cille Pheadair The inscription reads, 'This ancient cross, found in the old graveyard of Kilphedair, was erected on this pedestal by Dr Alaxander Macleod, "Dotair Ban", of Balelone, 1830 - 1840. This tablet was inserted and the pedestal was repaired by his grandson Norman Macleod of Calcutta, 1913 - 1914 and in 1960 by his great-grandson Brigadier Torquil Macleod RA.' Sadly, the cross is rather overpowered by its massive pedestal. |
