| Description |
English: Cross Keys station (remains/site), 1990
View northward toward Ebbw Vale and Brynmawr: ex-Great Western Newport - Western Valleys lines. The station was up on the right and closed 30/4/62 with the passenger service, to goods 23/3/64, but the line to Ebbw Vale remained open for steel traffic until 2002. (The line was reopened by Network Rail as the Ebbw Vale Railway on 6/2/08 and new Cross Keys station was also opened on 7/6/08 just south of here. |
