Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Looking at Vito Locascio Field, formerly Loring Park, at Cross Bay Boulevard and North Conduit Avenue in Ozone Park, Queens. The park was previously named after Loring Avenue (originally Lorraine Avenue), the name of 149th Avenue when it crosses into Brooklyn. Vito Locascio was a former Parks Department employee. The park, like many things in this area such as Conduit Avenue, was built on land from the Brooklyn Water Works' Ridgewood Aqueduct. Looking north from the left field corner.
