[edit]
Description The first mill viewed in 1995 from the yard and the sorry state it was in. Access was forbidden at the time due to the presence of toxic paint ingredients. Below the building on the right is a culvert carryng the Bonsall Brook. Originally there was an undershot waterwheel. In 1785 the mill was extended to its present length and a new overshot waterwheel was installed to the left of the picture, fed from the sough via the aqueduct.
