Summary
[edit]DescriptionCroft House Lower Fold, Scammonden - geograph.org.uk - 690947.jpg |
English: Croft House Lower Fold, Scammonden Croft House was one of the copyhold tenancies of the manor of Wakefield listed in 1607. It seems that it was later divided into two, Upper and Lower. There were two tracks to them, one being Croft House Lane from the Royal George Inn. Both have been severed by the M62. The guidestone at this inn (see another photo) gives directions to Scammonden and Deanhead along Croft House Lane. |
