Summary

[edit]
Description

Dead common but what good value! This species seeds all over the place where I work, even in boggy soil. I think they come originally from the Balkans.

It's amazing too to go around and have a look at the variation. Aside from the usual straight violet, forms with white insides are common and every so often you come across pure whites, some intense dark purples and some very unusual dusky pinkish forms.
