Description
English: The malik of the village Faizabad with Cpl. Hrvoje Canic, Maj. Drazen Komadina and Master Sgt. Zeljko Cvetkovic working as the Croatian Civil-Military Co-operation team, stand in front of the newly constructed water tower Dec. 12, 2011. The completion of the water tower will provide the villagers with clean water to their homes. The CIMIC team is stationed at Camp Marmal, Regional Command North, near Mazar-e Sharif. International Security Assistance Force Regional Command North supports Afghan National Security Forces in close coordination and collaboration in providing security and disrupting the insurgents' activities in order to protect the population, secure the highways and support the Afghan Border Patrol operations in the border areas and crossing points in order to set the conditions for economic, social and cultural development in key terrain districts.
