English: Žiča monastery is one of the most important and most known monasteries in Serbia. It is the place where Serbian state was established. It is also known as the Seven Doors monastery, as the seven kings were crowned here and everyone of them got his own door to exit. But it is the most famous for its red colour. Presently, the greater part of the buildings are going through refurbishing and waiting for its red colour.
