Description
English: Crews are now pouring the concrete for the new lanes on I-85. They started the paving process on the Long Ferry Road end of the project and are moving north to the Duke Industrial Rail Spur.

While that work is under way, workers are continuing the multi-step process of building the new road bed further north on both sides of the Yadkin River.

The project will widen I-85 from four lanes to eight lanes.
