Summary

[edit]
Description
English: Ex-London & North Western 0-6-0 Saddle-tank at Crewe Works.
Although lined up with other condemned engines, No. 27480, which was converted from a tender engine, was still working as a Crewe Works shunter and not withdrawn until the end of 1948. (Passing beside it are two of my fellow-visitors to the Works on that memorable day).
